Just last year i broke down and purchased a stryker 350. Havent shot a deer with it yet but love the way these xbows shoot. Know they had problems originally when they first came out. Was wondering how others out there liked em. Anyone still having problems with theirs?

What kind of problems did they have? It looks like a good setup. I don't have one, but have a crossbow, and like it.

Were having problems with limbs splintering, especially with the 380. From my understanding the problem is fixed now. Do love way these strykers shoot. Cant beat 350 fps from a 135 lb xbow

Cant beat 350 fps from a 135 lb xbow I actually hadn't hear of a Stryker, but I'm new to all this. Yes, 350 is fast and hard hitting. My Barnette shoots 345fps, and it sure makes a thump when it hits the target. It's a great starter for me, but am curious what it feels like to shoot a top notch brand. My biggest dislikes are the noise level and heavy trigger. I can probably silence it some, but haven't checked into it yet. The trigger is probably the nature of the beast; there's a lot of poundage behind that trigger. It just takes a little getting use to. Barnette did offer a unit that shot close to 400fps, but discontinued it. I think it was too much. I heard that people were dissatisfied with the arrows going through the target. :-) That's a hard hit. I can't imagine anyone needing more than 350fps. Hey, have you shot anything with it? Do you have a good place to practice? I have a tree stand in my back yard; it's a good practice setup. If you're near Greenwood, you are welcome to use it. I'll probably move it to the woods in about a month.
Glad that you're happy with the Stryker.

Hit a limb or wouldve shot a doe with it last year. Using a rage crossbow head. Curious to see how they perform

It doesn't take much of a limb does it?
I was curious about what you'd recommend for the head. I have two types, one that opens on impact and the other is fixed. The fixed one is heavier.
