This makes the 3rd year in a row for a rainy day bird. Thank heaven for ground blinds. Heard lots of gobbling first thing, then quiet. About 8:30am, this guy crests a hill with 2 hens, I make a few calls to get his attention, he sees my tom decoy, and covers about 200yds right to me. Knocked him right over at 40yd with 3in 12ga Remington #5 Nitros. Anybody that has not used a tom decoy with a real fan, you are missing out on some serious action. My buds let the toms attack the decoy, but I never wait that long. It is a sight to see though. Gobbler was 22lb, 10in beard, 1 1/8" spurs. Very happy. Thanks. Jay
