I might not have harvested a "Buck" but two Doe (in Ky) is better than getting skunked. The weather conditions, full moon, & availbility of "easy" mast, for the Deer, kept them from moving much except at night.

I have had a great year. Watched my son take his first antlered buck, hunted with friends from Colorado and Missouri, saw the largest antlered deer I have ever seen while hunting. Got to watch him for about....6 hours, plus get a picture of him...seen and heard things I never have in the deer woods. Helped 2 other first time hunters harvest deer...
A+ for sure for me...

A
I've taken three does, two with bow and one with my muzzleloader. I've passed up MANY opportunities to take a buck with both bow and muzzleloader. Just haven't seen what I wanted to shoot this year. I let several different 120's deer walk and a really neat 2 1/2 year old non typical, plus many many very young bucks. Hopefully, many of the bucks I let walk made it through the gun madness. Anymore, I take great pride in letting bucks walk. The trophy for me is just knowing I was that close to a good deer and the chance that next year he might return even bigger.
I took a coyotte with the bow and two ferral cats.
I helped my buddy track down his awesome 153" bow kill. I was almost as happy as if I'd had shot it myself.
My hunting is winding down for the year. I'm an early bow hunter. Once gun seasons get here, I don't hunt much. I'm just not a big fan of gun hunting, though I do take the muzzleloader out every once in a while. In December there are just too many holiday commitments to hunt much. I make it out a few times, but they are far and few between. If I've not taken the buck I'm after by the time gun season rolls around, I pretty much write the season off as done, and I'm OK with that. I really don't care anymore if I eat my buck tag. It is all about the memories of the first 6 weeks that keeps me going until next October.
All in all, another great deer season ... so far.
A late season heavy horned buck would tip the season scales to an A+.

A+
Hunted alot, saw some nice small bucks as well as a big boy all within bow range. Took one of the smaller ones with the bow and took 2 does with my muzzleloader. Maybe head back out a few times this year but shifting gears now to waterfowl and trapping.
I can't think of a hunting season that didn't score an A+ in my book. Some of the hunts might be below average but overall I got to enjoy it all over again and hope to have another A+ season next year.

ASRchery, hunted some. I tend to hunt ducks and geese until season goes out, then deer hunt hardcore. Hunting season in general has gone very well. My kids and I have created some great memories. Deer season has gone B- to B. I got two small deer, but missed a chance at a decent buck. No antlers yet. Still have muzzle and late arch. Hoping to add another deer to the freezer. My oldest boy gets his first chance with a front stuffer this weekend. We'll see what happens.

This one, any, all, and every future deer season in which I stay healthy enough to get out and hunt will always be rated A+ in my book.

A Low on results, but that is no one's fault but my own. Passed several small bucks during the early bow season and missed a mature doe at 20 yards. Still getting over that one. Killed a button buck at last light (just couldn't make out those buttons) before gun season. I saw two shooter bucks out of range one 100+ yards chasing a doe and one at 50 yards with bow in hand. I didn't hunt much during gun season. It's not over yet though, and I will be out there until Jan 1st! I plan on taking out a doe or three with my newly aquired MLr.

I'd have to give it a C overall. Saw a lot of things that I haven't figured out yet and learned a few things.

Indianadan,
Remember... if it's a button, it doesn't count as a buck, so you're still OBR-legal.... :-)
