I have my opinions of him and the way he handles certain "situations" .... but I do like to listen to the man play guitar.
He will be at the Ford Center on May 15 with REO Speedwagon and STYX.
I wonder how event organizers would feel if I showed up with an AR strapped across my back ;D
Anyway ... ill be there. Anyone else?

First concert I ever went to in 1978 was Nugent and Judas Priest. I seen REO many times and Styx once. I think I will pass on this one

Swilk: I feel exactly the same way about him however he did pack the Laporte county fair the night he played and he kept his comments to himself.

Some of my fondest memories of growing was listening to the REO High Infidelity album in dads car when it came out. Lincoln stretch just outside Dale Indiana headed to Lincoln State Park to swim .... dads trans am with the 8track blaring.
To this day I am instantly brought back to those days any time I hear a song from that album.
I use "stranglehold" as my alarm clock on my phone ........
Should be a good time.

It would be nice but I'll have to pass this time. I saw him once with Kiss in Indy,he shot his bow on stage.

The guy can shred on a guitar, but other than that I think Uncle Ted is an idiot.

I wouldn't pay to see him "debate" in his own special way .... but Ill pay to see him play.

'Fraid not.
We don't go to many concerts, but we are going to hear Don Williams the following week in Carmel. Went to one of his appearances many years ago in Greenfield and enjoyed it thoroughly. About as "high energy" as Perry Como, but we sure like to hear the old crooner sing, and it's actually a PLUS for us that his amps could probably be powered by a couple of AA's if there's a power failure.
It's a geriatric thing, some of you kids just wouldn't understand.
