Even tho 1,600 people entered the contest, only 68 snakes captured? Either a whole bunch of people just entered just to enter, or a whole bunch of people don't know squat about catching them.
4 different guys caught 34 snakes between them, one of those guys caught 18, almost 25% of the total catch!
Biggest one was 14'-3". Wow!!!

Stay tuned net season for a reality show on the History Channel about python roundups....Glade People has a ring to it. Hi perf airboats and hovercraft, short catchsticks with loops, maybe an ex-WWF star who just jumps on 'em and "rassles em".
