I went back to my aunt's 88 acre farm yesterday, even though my wife & 13 yr old refused to go with me. Haven't seen any deer here for a while. I sat patiently til 10:37am. No deer once again, heard only 2 shots very early. Sooooo.... By this time the woods was crawling with squirrels literally! I was curious on how small I could aim with the new pistol. That being said, I had a fat 1 climb with in 15 yds on a limb slightly above me with the main trunk behind it. No rest, sitting, free hand. Head shot (pretty sure a 225 gr 44 bullet is overkill lol) Boom, flop, thud. Caught em right under the chin. Complete pass through!! Blood trail was terrible, I'll have to admit. Lol figured I'd stop with one and see if I could entice my son into taking some this wk with the .22 Btw looked for fresh deer tracks on my way out of the woods covering 500 yds along the woods/field boarder and 800 yds of fence row, found none looks like I'm gonna hit public ground with ML and bow
