Can someone explain how to anneal my 243 wssm brass and then fire form it for my .358 wssm wildcat? And after I fire form it do I need a reamer of the .35 cal (.358)?

243 are on the small size for fire forming to .358. We used 250 Wssm cases but you can try.
I used a shallow dish filled with water up to the middle of the case. Use a hand held torch and heat the neck up to a 5 count till it just starts to turn red. This is a longer count than normal for annealing but due to the fact you are going to work the brass over .100 I found the softer treatment works better. After annealing make sure all the water is out of the case by drying them in a oven on very low heat for a hour or two.
Next prime and use 10 grain of unique powder, then fill the case up with cream of wheat to the bottom of the neck. I stuffed a piece of toilet paper into the neck to keep the cases from spilling. Load and fire away. I held the gun up to the sky. Every once in a while run a cleaning rod through to clean out any cream of wheat that might stick in the barrel.
Let the brass cool down and sort out the ones that have split the neck. Next turn the OAL of the case length to 1.620 or whatever you are setting yours. Next run them through the expander ball of the die so you are sizing the neck only. Dont full length size yet. Now you need to turn the neck down to .012 - .015. Next run them through the full length die. They are now ready to load. h.h.

I bought this to anneal my brass. It worked pretty good and was relatively quick. I did use the templac, but after using it a few times I can do it by eye now. www.cartridgeanneal.com/

jrbell,
Unless you already have a OAL trimmer and neck turning tool its cheaper to buy the brass already made. A Wilson trimmer with holder and a Forester neck turning tool will cost you a lot more than 50 made cases. You can reload them 25+ times. h.h.
