This will be my 5th season using my present equipment. Same for me. Nowadays, I try to keep a bow for at least 5 years before retiring it, so I may have a new one next year. This bow has served me well for the last 4 seasons -- 15 deer, 2 coyotes, and a tom turkey (which I nailed good but lost when it managed to get into very heavy cover ) -- so there's always a chance that I won't retire it yet. I hunted with my last bow for 8 seasons.

Mathews Switchback LD. I'm not sure how old it is. I bought it used a couple years ago. It does all I want it to do.

I have my dad's old Bear Kodiak Magnum (recurve). Believe he said he bought it the year my brother was born (1976) and I have a Missions Venture that I bought new last year.

I switch between a couple of different bows. This years recurve will be a 2012 Bear T/D riser with some two year old custom limbs @47#. My longbow will be a 1952 Bear Cub drawing 46 lbs.
