We may get 3 to 5 inches of Rain here in Western Kentucky during the next two days.
It rained here yesterday, and it really brought the Deer out into the fields.
I drove around Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area (LBL) and seen over 50 Deer. I saw 8 different Bucks also.
And the Turkeys were out also, I probably saw 40 or 50 different Turkeys.
I even seen a Fawn nursing. That was cool to see.
I was glad to see the wildlife is doing good after the heat wave we have had this Summer.

The corn around KY lake is as dead as my late aunt. It could be a rain forest from here on out, wouldn't make a difference.

I havn't seen LBL but I'm not so sure the corn in Posey and Vanderburg Counties will fare much better. I'm a bit worried. not just for deer hunting. I worry for the farmers and the economy bad news all around.

Some of the corn is doing good here, and some is not doing good. The Soeybeans are doing okay in a lot of areas even though we had 10 days in a row above 100 degrees and little rain. I hope the 5 inches of Rain we will get today and tomorrow will help.

Yep it would appear that the heaviest rain stayed in central and northern KY (Good for them) and that southeastern Indiana and southern Ohio will probably get 1/4" to 1/2" over the next 3 day's. That's a lot less than predicted 2 day's ago, but at this point I will take any we can get.

Finally received some rain around New Albany today. So far (I thinking positively) 1.1" has fallen.
That's the most rain we've had @ one time since the end of May.
