Is there a law in Texas that hunters must use the term Sendero for a farm road? Dang, that gets in my nerves! It is a ROAD!!! Does that bother anyone else, or is it just my time of the month?

My brother comes here from New England and calls every little creek a brook. Drives him crazy when I say creek. Localized terminology thats all. Sendero is Spanish is Path not Road.

If I ever hunt Texas I'm going to call it a road (or path) just to buck the system!
By the way, I can't stand it when people call a creek a "crick"

Texas guys would probably find it wierd if you called their Sendero's farm roads. What is the matter with people sticking with their local customs? Plenty of folks think we Hoosiers say some wierd stuff too.
Texas hunting is pretty neat. If you've never done it, everyone should put that on their bucket list.

Man I know what you're saying, "Then I looked down the sudero to see a huge dark colered rack...." Looks like a road in a high fence operation to me buddy! Click to a new channel that's what I do. I think its "Bucks of Tecamonti" or something like that I won't even watch it.

Had some friends go to Texas to hunt for a couple of years. They said the sendero plays a roll in that it is used to haul you in your truck to the tower stand and drop you off. Also used to keep the automatic corn feeder full and best of all......so that the corn spreader on the back of their truck can spread corn from your stand to approx 200 yards away. That's why those TV shows always have lots of deer eating in the sendero. Like a dinner bell went off when they hear that fast clicking of the spreader on the truck which they are conditioned to. I always wondered if the deer were eating gravel like a groundhog on the side of the road. LOLLLLLLLLLLL To each his own.

You didn't think they were eating gravel did you?
That style of hunting is not my thing, but there is a lot of that brush country that would be very hard to hunt otherwise. Whatever floats one's boat I guess, as long as its legal.
