Thinking about trying a hunt in KY this year. Visited the LBL long ago on a family vacation, and liked the looks of it, but haven't been back in a long time.
I'm not a horn hunter, just a bowhunter who likes to try somewhere different once in a while. The LBL appealed to me because there's so much public land accessible, and it appears that quite a bit would be accessible by boat, too, which would be particularly welcome because of my reduced hiking abilities now.
Figured it might be a good place to tow my fishing boat and some camping gear for a visit or two this fall.
Anyone have any tips or suggestions on info sources for there? I've checked a few websites already, but have found less than I expected so far.

wow! Thanks Kentucky Lake. That's a lot of the sort of info I sought. I had already found some detailed maps with the areas shown, so I can now do some serious pre-trip remote scouting, and some much more detailed day-dreaming.
This is starting to sound like a much better idea already.
I can't remember how many years ago it was that I was there before. The thing I recall most vividly about the trip was the porkchops we had at Patti's. Bet you know about those 8^)
