Scored a 21lb, 9in bearded, 3/4" spurrred Tom in the rain Sat morning. Whacked him at 30 yd with a 12gu. Weird year, very little gobbling and little response to calling. Jay

Maybe the rain washed all the smell away, because I had no problem handling him. AND, he tastes great!!! My buds that are still hunting are saying very little gobbling, and poor responses to calling and decoying. Getting tough to hunt for them. Jay
