Seriously. I know hunting is exciting, but man, think/look before you pull the trigger.
I'll be down in Bloomington on Sunday. Please don't shoot me! ;-)

I just can NOT imagine shooting to kill something without knowing exactly what I'm killing....prayers go out to all involved including the responders to these incidents.
I hate to say it but all of the shooters should be criminally charged and their hunting privileges taken away permanently. There is absolutely no excuse for this!!!!

The overwhelming desire to successfully kill something osometimes over rides good judgement and even training. They convince themselves in their mind's eye that movement is a turkey/deer/whatever..
Hunting "accidents" involving misidentified a human as a turkey is extremely hard for me to believe as ONLY turkeys with beards are legal.

So does that mean we should shave our beards before we head to the turkey woods?
