Im a big reader of the North American Whitetail magazine and daily visit the website. Most probably know but they have a section in the called "deer of the day" i decided to send a pic and the story of the buck i killed this past gun season back in november. After nothing for a couple months i figured it just wasnt going to make it, but much to my suprise on march 2nd the deer of the day photo was infact myself and my buck! pretty cool and definitely an honor. Thought i would share it with my fellow indiana hunters...heres the link if it works right www.northamericanwhitetail.com/2012/03/02/deer-of-the-day-a-soldiers-trophy-sgt-aaron-c-fletcher/

Great time for all involved! Thank you for your service!!! Must also put in a big pat on the back for your wife and her devotion to you. What a buck!!! Like you said it's gonna be the buck of a lifetime no matter what you may take later in life simply because of the circumstances. I'll bet your new baby will be growing up hearing all about it
