I've been interested in getting a 45 colt Rifle for hunting in indiana. Would the Rossi circuit be a bad choice, or should i just stick with it in a leveraction? thanks!

I'd go with a regular rifle. A .45 round out of a .410 chamber will result in a less than 50 yard (likely a 25 yard effective range) gun

I wouldn't own a rossi personally; I've picked a few up in gun shops and all seem weak in the hinge when you break them down. I could've just run across a few abused ones though.

I agree with danf and dbd870. For deer use a "regular" rifle, not one with a .45-.410 chamber. A regular rifle should give you considerably more effective range to get clean one-shot kills.

I wouldn't own a rossi personally; Not to mention they are owned by Taurus, which is one of the last ones mentioned under the category of "good customer service".

Several lever action cowboy type rifles available in that caliber. I've got a Uberti 1873 Winchester replica that is pretty sweet. Almost a little too pretty to take hunting.
