Are you seeing more or less Deer now compared to 5 years ago ?
I am seeing less Deer in Kentucky, and Indiana, and most people I know are also.
What about you ?

More here, I believe it is because the area I hunt has few hunters and my change to stand sites with low impact entries and exits.

Well as of now, most of you say you are seeing Less Deer. The Deer Vehicle wrecks/collisions are also way down.
So I really think in many places Deer numbers are down, imo

A lot less, and the ones that I do see are scrub bucks.

About the same but more spread out. Areas where there were large herds are less and areas were there were no deer now have nice populations.

11 people is certainly enough to form an opinion.

I can't really vote (and won't) as it is apples to oranges. Five years ago I was blessed to be hunting 110 acres of deer heaven. That is now a coal mine and the 10 acres that I hunt now just does not have the deer that the other location had.

Still over half of you are saying you are seeing LESS Deer.
I have done this on other forums also, and most people said they were also seeing Less Deer.

Write deer reduction 50 times on the black board, Bill.
SPEAKING OF ILLINOIS, A few years ago, NR and those that mainly trophy deer hunt were given hell for not being willing to shoot does. Now, we see a steady downward trend in harvest, higher doe harvest numbers and really good quality healthwise and harvest wise. Those that said it couldn't be done were wrong.
