Ever notice how wherever someone lives... they THINK it's Gods Country? Something random that always amused me. No matter where you go in the state or country... someone thinks it's the ONLY place to be. Jabba

Some beautiful country down there!

I've traveled all over the world and most of the US of A. The valley I live in is God's country or I'd move to Indiana in a heartbeat. Valley surrounded by mountains with a 7000 acre lake right in the center of the valley. 10K people total in the county. 1 town with a population of 600 and 2 red lights in the county total. 60% of the county is national forest land. 32 churches in the county. Seems like every road has at least 1 church on it. No crime to speak of but also no industry at all. Deer hunting is dismal with about 100 total killed per season. Fishing is good but nothing like fishing farm ponds. God's country is where the Holy Spirit is in your heart making you a content and happy Christian following God's word in your daily lives. That said......"you all come see me, you hear?" LOL

I guess I am guilty as charged... and I could care less if anyone agrees with me or not. So put that in your pipe and smoke it!!! LOL
Lived all over Indiana and can tell you if I am at home with my family it's God's Country. Has nothing to do with the physical location, but current location is pretty nice too!

Oh I agree. I wouldn't live anywhere else. Indiana is home.
I have lived in Florida, Pennsylvania, New York State and Hawaii.
There are people everywhere that will actually ARGUE with you about why THEIR place is better than YOUR place.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder... FOR SURE.
I just think it's an interesting observation on the human psyche that a lot of people really believe that their corner of the world is God's favorite.

All that coal mining...I think it goes the other way. All the temptation, think about it!

Wow, I thought 150 yards all around my deer stand was Gods country. Or 45 yards around my duck blind was Gods country. Or maybe any Saturday night at a dirt track was Gods country. No its just allllllllll of them, because Im with family, friends and at peace.
