I do alot of driving in my job and it never ceases to amaze me of some of the thing I see and wonder how much that cost me. I have always been confused at the walls they are putting up around 465 as a noise barrier. At least that is what I have been told they were. Thinking maybe it is to hide some of the areas from drivers. "beautify indy". What really got me burned is on 69 south bound between 116th street and 96th street and on 465 between keystone and allisonville the new signs they have up that will tell you what the estimated travel time it to 465 or I69. If you are stuck in traffic what is the point of telling me how long its going to take me to get to my next exit. Seems all that is going to do is make me more mad. Wondering who the genius was that brought up this idea and what these things are taking out of my pockets. Anyone else seen anything that makes you wonder?

On 80/94/294 There's "Road Construction speed limit 45 mph" signs, but I don't see any equipment or workers, and has been that way for months. If you're not going at least 60 mph you'll get run over, 70-80 mph keeps pace with the traffic in the 2 left lanes. Revenue generating system?

I wondered the same thing about the new estimated time signs. I pass two of them when I get off 65 going east on 465 to 56th street.

What I really have a problem with no matter what part of the state I'm in is that when I pass through a road construction area, most of the workers are STANDING AROUND doing nothing but watching while a few really work!.....they get paid too well to stand around on the taxpayers dollar!!
