Have any of you guys used a utility shed and finished the inside out for a man cave. To work on bows, store hunting stuff, watch ball games etc etc? If you can post some pics. Thinking about doing this.

I don't have anything like that but I have thought this would be a good use of one of those quality metal buildings.

When we had our pole barn/garage built, I had them add an extra 8' on the back. I built a wall and insulated the entire room. That gave me an 8' x 24' bow shop. I wish it was bigger. Here are some pictures from last year. I have 80 osage staves stacked in there right now. I have to build a drying rack somewhere for them.

Don't see why that wouldn't work fine. Put a good lock on it.

I have a 12x24 yard barn with 8 foot walls downstairs and 4 foot walls in the attic - plus skylights and windows and a steel double door for security. I have so much stuff that it is stuffed to the gills with ammo, clothing, gear, radios, camping and survival gear, lumber, PVC pipe and so much more. Not to mention all the stuff that the wife has decided needed stored in there as well.
I will be building a new one at my new house in St. Louis...a little smaller but I now have a basement with a 12x18ft man cave for my use as well.

My bro-n-law bought one of those 40 ft shipping containers for ~$1,000 delivered. Makes for a handy storage locker. but not much of a place to hang out.

Friend of ours down in SC actually got 4 of these for "a song"...had them stacked two high about 18' apart and is in the process of making one heck of a man cave! Have also seen at least one article where someone made a house out of them also...I'll have to look for that one again.

I saw a thing on TV where Jodie Foster's dad got in legal trouble for making houses out of these things. IIRC it wasn't for the buildings but for stealing the money from clients...Seen offices made out of them too. They do make a great storage shed.

There is actually a company I saw once that makes temporary house units out of those shipping containers for use after hurricanes and such...they also sell them as hunting cabins and such also. They have a whole list of options you can get from regular windows, sliding doors and about anything else you can think of.

Well My Grandpa actually killed that back in the 70's, He just passed away about a month ago, I put that up along with my stuff just to have something to remember him by- He was really proud of that pronghorn- he said he had chased it for 3 days before connecting with it out in Wyoming.. Oh and it had a broken skull plate making it nontypical
