Idk if I like the buck or the gun more. Both are beautiful Thanks, here a little more for you. Savage 10ML-II, Boyd's stock, pillar bedded, floated and hand lapped barrel topped off with a Burris 4.5X14-42mm that has the illuminated recital and a set of Warne rings and bases. I've got a couple Remington 700Ml's that I'll be converting to smokeless soon.

Very nice buck with heavy mass. Did you have him scored?Looks to be at least 170 inch range.
Ah yes, the Savage Smokeless. Yours is really nice! Pac-nor barrel?
I have been shooting smokeless for many years now. My first smokeless, I bought the Savage 10ML II Henry Ball Limited Edition.Used that rifle for 3 seasons then bought a NULA 50 cal. smokeless. Now the NULA is all I use. Maybe buying a 77/44 mag soon, not sure yet. Smokeless muzz's are the way to go. As much or as little power as needed for the game you want to hunt.
Anyway, sorry for the muzz. rambling, congratulations on the very, very nice buck!
