I left the house at 8:00 am , and limited out within 2 hours this morning . I also capped a good sized adult foxy whom I've nicknamed "Clever Dick" that lives in the hickory tree in front of my house , but he got hung up on a limb as he fell . All of these squirrels were taken in either my front or back yards . BTW , anybody who thinks Trebarkā¢ is an outdated pattern should try it for squirrels , 6 shots-5 squirrels , they never knew I was there .

Changing out that crappy brass front bead for a set of Hi Viz fiber optic rifle sights made all the difference in the world , I was knocking them out with a single shot at up to 35 yards . The shotgun is a 20 gage Charles Daly 3 shot field model with a modified choke firing 2.75" #7.5 shot . I toyed with the idea of using 6s , but the 7.5s patterned so well I just stayed with them .
