Had 2 small yearling's sparring tonight and no sooner than they had left had a nice 3.5 yr old 8 point (Mid 120's) come strolling by with nose to ground and on a mission. Have also noticed some new/fresh rub's showing up. Think 2nd rut is in it's peak.

I've been wondering about that; I saw an 8 out in a field with several does. He was showing no interest in them at all.

I had two small bucks (4 pt. and 6 pt.) grunting, pushing and chasing a few does at Crane on this past Sunday on a military hunt! In the morning and then another one in the afternoon. 2nd rut is here or at least at Crane for these two small guys!

Say 13 deer this morning. A 110 ish buck was pushing a couple around, but they were'nt interested. The rest were all does and yearling's. (4 button's in the group)
