What do you think? Warbles gonna be a problem on tree rats this year.
Our squirrels get them pretty bad down here in my neck of the woods some years.

I've never shot a squirrel with them. I shoot a lot of squirrels most years, so I guess its a matter of time.

Maybe I'm a mental midget, but what is a Warbel? That's what chico said! ;D Parasitic larve from the Warble Fly. They develop under the skin and are easily detected by the festered lump if the larve have not hatched. If hatched, there is scabbing, infection, & scars. Usually located along the spine.

I only found a few on mine last year. In the past I have had years where about of my kills had warbles. Ahhh but that was back when I had all the time in the world to hunt.

I very rarely find them on greys too. I hunt in Parke county but just across the county line.
