Last on I think I took was a Mossberg 410 pump. Or it could have been my Marlin 39a lever. Been so long I really do not remember.

I have a .22 cal pellet gun that is kind of fun to use. It is a little more challenging you are need to hit them in the head or wait for a broad side shot. It has just enough power (some where around 650 or 700 FPS) to go threw the ribs and chest cavity of a large fox squirrel and the pellet ends up just under the skin of the opposite side. The big disadvantage is that it is a single shot and some what cumbersome to load. It is a pretty accurate gun and you have enough power for a kill shot at about 40 to 50yds. A lot of fun for a 60 or 70 dollar set up with pellets averaging about $0.02 per shot.
I also have some fun with an old Stevens 12 gauge pump.

I just squirrel hunt with a plain `ol Remington 552 Speedmaster that I bought in 1980, the same year my twins were born. It`s topped with a Deerfield scope, which was a cheap scope for that time, and probably aren`t even available anymore, but man, I`ve killed a ton of squirrels with that rifle and scope. But I hope to do some small game hunting with my Ruger Single Six "hunter", the little brother to my Ruger Super Blackhawk "Hunter" .44 Mag.

I use a cz452 American with a Burris compact 4X and Remington subsonic hollowpoints. Quiet and accurate.

cz 452 american also. If I had to sell all of my guns, this would be one of the last two to go.

Savage model 24 with 22 over 20ga! The big bore works great for doubles, ones on the run, and when I get frustrated!

My favorite is simply my TC Contender with the 14" 17 HMR barrel attached and a Burris 5x scope on it. Have popped squirrels out past 100 yards.
With my wife and kids along we have a couple of stainless 10/22's as well as a Ruger 77/17 topped with a Burris 3-9x, a pair of Browning Buckmark Silhouette Pistols topped with 2x and 4x Burris scopes and a pair of Ruger Mark II's with 2x and 4x Burris scopes.
So difficult to choose some days...until the kids take all the nice ones I prefer to use.

Only a death ray if I do my part. Hate to admit how many times I have missed over the years...

My favorite is a Stevens .22/.20ga single shot. However, i use my shotgun 95% of the time simply because i was weaned on a scattergun as a kid & thought for years that what u used!
