I know each guns differs just needing some suggestions..I'm gonna attach a pic of the box the gun came in with the make and model and help is much needed. I won't get a chance to shoot it til prolly the Thursday before gun opener like to be able to buy what I need site it in and be ready to go..thanks!! If the pic doesn't attach I will just write out what's on the box! Attachments:

I would get some winchester 209 primers, a box of triple 7 pellets and some powerbelts or hornday SST's. to start out with.

winchester or CCi 209n primers will work, powerbelt ,sst , barnes or tc shock waves pick a grain I like 250 grain bullets myself. The tc shock waves. should be able to get a good group out of any of these. I would stick with triple 7 pellets to start (2) or a 100 grains for this year.

I recommend what works for me. Pyrodex loose powder, Hornady FPB bullets (like PowerBelts but better in my opinion). Try 90 and 100 grain charges.

triple 7 primmers an pellets 100gr total "2" pellets with tc shock waves 250gr makes my CVA Accura a tack driver. an tc make wet patches, that having cleaner on them , an dry patches. i run an wet an dry patch after every shot. an with a muzzeloader it does make a differance. not only after a shot or 3 it becomes very hard to ram a bullet down the barrel your groups will change also.

Id steer clear of powerbelts.
shockwaves are good bullets ( I use the yellow tipped 250 gr), group great in my gun with 2 50gr pyrodex pellets and are absolutely lethal.

No need for patching, using blackhorn 209 powder. I have shot up to 60 times at the range without patching or losing the same POI. never understood the pellets most guns will shoot better with a odd ball charge, not in 50 gr. Increments. Mine will shoot cloverleafs at 100yds. With 110 gr. And 4" groups with 100gr.

I wonder if the bullet being seated higher or lower in the barrel make a differance in the grouping?

I wonder if the bullet being seated higher or lower in the barrel make a differance in the grouping? I am not sure, i guess it could be. i just alays assumed it was the difference in velocity. I promise, if you try BH209 you will never use anything else, again!! No crud ring, cleans with regular gun cleaners ( I use Hoppes) and in the 60 shot string at the range the last shot loaded as easy if not easier than the first. But, i was always a loose powder guy. some use the pellets for convinience, i buy tubes from a guy on another forum, they are great to use as speedloaders and i can load as quick as a buddy that uses pellets. I have convinced him to switch to the BH209 next year. There is a thread on here about buying it for 27 a jug, that is the cheapest, i have ever found it and just ordered more from that guy, he is up to 29 now. but, thats cheaper than i can buy it locally and don't have to buy gas to go get it.

777 209 primers, 100 gr. 777 pellets, Hornady 50 cal. 300 gr. XTP (hollow point). Usually drops em where they stand. Breaks bones with massive internal organ damage.
