Saw some activity over the weekend. Grunted in 2.5 year old 7 point sat morning at 8:45. And Sunday evening I had a 3.5 yr old 120 ish 8 pt pushing does around in a hay field at 6:45. Chasing phase is close and expect it to kick into high gear next 5 to 7 days. Scheduling my work to be off as much as possible from the 26th through the 9th Nov for some serious tree time. Good luck all.

Had a lot more scrapes and rubs in my area this weekend as compared to the previous weeks.
The fun is about to kick in full gear.

My trail camera told the same story. Lots of young buck following the does.

I just finished a 2 day sit, pack lunch and all, and was somewhat suprised the lack of activity? On the 25 Not 1 deer during legal shooting light, then today Better, about 9:30am I had waht appeared to be a Large Body deer, as he was and the Rack was either an 8 or 10 probably 120's, I sat in that stand till Noon, and Made a switch to my back stand around 12:30 pm I had a Basket rack 6 pointer come from the corn and was searching the woods for a ladie, I am sure, about 25 minutes later I have 1 small forked Horn, On the Same Path as the deer before him, Then around 3 pm I had Mama and her 2 fawn's in tow, as they made it through the woods feeding on Accorn's. The last deer I saw was around 5:45 in the center of the woods, and never could make it out (Buck or Doe).. I also have about 200 acers of corn surrounding my woods, which I am sure hurts some. I think it's probably 5 to 7 days away till all chasing, that goes about Par compared to last year. I keep Notes. Hated Notes in School, Now they are my Ace in the Hole. Another thing that was strange, I keep a weather Radio on with a Ear plug in 1 ear, and Everytime I saw deer the Beromiter was either droping or Rasing?

Had a 2.5 yr old 8 point chasing does last night and also a forkhorn attempting to chase. The forkhorn also sparred with a button buck for a few moment's untill the button realized he didn't have any horn's to spar with. LOL Funny stuff.

Saturday, I hunted all day, prety slow in the am, and around 3 pm the Deer started to move but all doe's and about 6 I had two Bucks come into the woods and they were both together stood there about 60 yards away and one went into the center of woods and the smaller went buy me skirting the outside of the woods. I have been getting more buck pic on my trail cam, and during daylight, I think that next week should be really good at least in my neck of the woods.

Over the weekend, seen 9 different bucks on Timex's property, all of them was interested in the girls, had one that i estimated in the 160 class that wouldn't get closer than 50 yards, had the xbow scope on him but couldn't find it in myself to squeeze the trigger, then immediately afterwords my arms and legs shook like a rag doll in the wind.......God I love this sport!! ;D

I went out Sunday morning. Hit the grunt tube and about 5 minutes later heard the sound of antler smacking against pine trees. 10-15 minutes passed and all was quiet. Then all the sudden i hear a deer moving his way through thick brush in the same area , real nice ten pointer. He jumps the fence, stands there for a minute and looks around. Doesn't see the source of the grunt and casually turns around and jumps back over the fence into the thick stuff lol. About 9 :30 i had a decent 8 come in on his way to the thick stuff to bed. Not sure where he came from, but he had been up to something somewhere. I also seen 2 small dinkers together and 3 does. Going again in the morning.
