My first morning out yielded in zero deer sightings. Heard one before sun rise walk down off the ridge and exit the woods to the south of me about 60 yards but that was it. Not much activity on my trail cams either. Corn is coming out quickly so i am hoping that is the hold up.

Pretty wet up this way, My son said he had a Doe and 2 fawns come in on him and he said he never heard them untill they were just below his stand. Alot of corn still up this way, weather made it tough the last few days for harvest.

Same happened to me. Decided on Tuesday night to hunt from my ground blind. I like having a roof when it's raining. Regardless I looked down to text message my wife. I look up and have a doe perfectly broadside at 10 yards. I picked up my bow when she was looking away, and much to my surprise her baby was out my right side blind window looking in at me. She was about 20 yards away. Didn't even know there was a second deer. The little one caught me and ran to the brush. I thought I was going to still get a shot, but I didn't. Now a very weary mom moved out of my lane and into the brush pretty quickly. Never heard them not once.
