Resting up like the big buck's right now and waiting for that magic time when all hell break's lose in the wood's. Been getting out a few time's a week but mostly observing sign looking for sign's that the PRE RUT is kicking in. Saw 2 small scrapes last night and a few decent rub's. Still a couple week's before I'm gonna get after it full time. (Don't want to burn myself out early.) So if anyone see's any buck's chasing does next few week's please post as that mean's it time to get to work. Good luck all.

Sounds like Lugnutz is seeing some rut activity. Albeit not of the heterosexual variety. LOL

I had a small fork horn buck chasing 2 doe's around a cut bean field last sunday morning while grunting and running them back and forth across the field. Both doe's didn't seem to want much to do with the small buck. Still a little early, but that was the earliest I have ever seen a buck on this farm in the chase phase! Fun to watch!

Spent the last two days driving in Ohio. Saw several small bucks laying along the roadsides so they must be getting itchy.

I did. Right at the end of Dickeyville. Didn't notice what it was, but I had to leave the windows up until I got to a field or my wife griped that our 2 year old in back was getting cold.
Course, he's griping because his window is up and he can't "see more deers Daddy!". ;D
