I'm looking to buy a synthetic stock for a Marlin 512 Slugmaster. Does anyone know where I might find one? Also, does anyone have this gun with synthetic stock? If so, I'd like to know the part # if it's not too much of a hassle to check. Thanks.

Ive seen Marlin Slug guns and all had wood stocks. Might be something hard to find. h.h.

I 2nd hh. Think the syn would b too lite where the heavier wood helps absorb recoil

The recoil isn't an issue for me. If I can't find a synthetic stock, I'll likely buy a factory wood stock and slim it down. They closely resemble a 2x4 from the factory.

Wood is available. Not sure why there's a scarcity of synthetic. They were sold with synthetic for a bit.

I wasn't able to find a synthetic stock but did find some beautiful laminate thumb hole stocks in many different color options .https://www.boydsgunstocks.com/ProductDetail/2z1617206111_featherweight-thumbhole-marlin-512-long-action-clip-feed-bull-barrel-channel-nutmeg-laminate

Thanks. I'm not a fan of the thumbhole design, but they have a nice classic style too. Price isn't too bad either.
