Finally got my tag issue straightened out. Seven more days to go and i'm headed to wyoming for antelope and velvet muley or whitetail. He says he's been seeing several nice muley including a 8x9 with 28 inch spread. Has a couple pics of 180 plus whitetails. Bows dialed in and just counting down the days. Every year I've gone the quality has gotten better. Hope this is the year.

HuntMeister... Its 30 minutes north of Cheyenne. East central portion of the state. Little town called merridan. Population 20. I actually think the town consists of the rancher and his family. Beautiful ranch. 68000 acres of paradise. Man could ya all imagine owning something like that. Thanks for all the well wishes.

Sounds like a great place. If I were to up and relocate I think WY would be at the top of my list. Especially the western part, IMHO WY is an outdoorsman's paradise.

DIY we have been hunting on their ranch so long they are like part of the family. One of our party doesn't even hunt. He goes out and they put him on a horse, he helps them with the roundup the entire time we are there. Never have even charged us a trespass fee. As far as outfitters go, I don't know of any in the area. There used to be one operating there but he left a couple of years ago.

14 hours into the drive. Two more to go. Wait whats that? A cabelas. Well I guess have to stop at this one. Sitting in front of cabelas sidney now. Im sure I can find something I just have to have in here. Its like disneyland for hunters. You could go to a cabelas store, leave that one, and if there is one at the next exit have to stop at that one too. Seeing a pile of deer along the platte in nebraska. Couple of small bucks. Seen two big ol group of turkeys. One had 6 or 7 long beards in it. Lots of geese. Much of the corn is down here. Even seen a flock of snows. Dont know what they were doing. Real early coming down or super late going up. Anyway guys just wanted to update. Be in camp in two hours and im sure a little poorer aftet leaving here.
