Schoolmaster on here has 4 Handi Rifles in .357 Max. They started out as .357 Mags and he rented a reamer and we reamed the chamber out to Max. He has a load that uses AA 1680 powder and 180 grain Hornady soft points and is deadly out to 200 yards. h.h.

I shoot the Maxi in a Super 14 Contender and a Handi. The Handi loves the speer 180's over the 1680, pushed hard. I took 2 deer with it last year. The Contender has only been out a couple times and not had its chance. Lonny ps I think if some of the guys looking for the new fangled rounds tryed the Maxi, they would be hooked |
