I don't have any experience with Keltec guns but I do know guys that have them and they seem to like them. Are you wanting one for carry? h.h.

Wanting a lightweight carry gun that still has a decent amount of punch.
I saw them at Buck and Jakes for $249. That is probably where I will buy it as they were a Youth Hunt sponsor the last two years.

WW, .380 ACP is one you really should look at. Its a 9mm short and very compact to carry. Ruger LCP and Kel Tec both make them. They are so small and light weight you don't know you even have them in your pocket. Plenty of stopping power for a close up gun fight. I carry a .380 AMT and never feel under gunned. If you get a gun thats heavy to carry you carry and while and then stop. A gun that is light to carry wont bother you and you will carry it more. A gun left at home doesn't do you any good if you need one. h.h. www.ruger.com/products/lcp/index.htmlwww.keltecweapons.com/our-guns/pistols/p-3at/

OK...I'll take a look at. It looks to be about 5 ounces less than the 9MM (unloaded).

I've got the P3AT. It used to go with me everywhere. Light and disappears in a multitude of places.
I did polish the feed ramp with a muslin wheel on the dremel so that it would feed Cor Bons reliably.

Well,
You snooze you lose.
I did a lot of research and questions on INGO.
I decided to buy the PF9 as it was cheaper to shoot and still had decent punch. I went back to buy the gun and it was already sold.
Larry at Buck and Jakes cant even find one at any of his suppliers. Did a search on the net and every place has them on back order.
I might run up to Huntingburg to a gun show tomorrow..

I originally considered a PF9, but settled on a Kahr CW9 that I found on GunBroker for a good price. The cost differential wasn't extreme, and by all reports, I've got a more reliable gun.

If that's an "out the door" price, it's not bad. If not, it seems a bit high from what I remember for a new one. I got lucky and found mine used on GunBroker, had a whopping 70 rounds through it and was essentially new. If I remember correctly I sent a MO for $348 and some change, and then paid a $20 transfer fee at my FFL. The gun had absolutely NO wear when I got it.
Keep in mind, the Kahr's (and probably other polymer framed pistols) require 200 rounds of break-in before you can consider them reliable. Other than some operator error with mine (last round loaded in mag wasn't seated fully), mine had no major hiccups during break-in, though I've stayed away from UMC ammo since that time.

Their cash price is $410 with no tax. $431 if I use Visa. They will be in Evansville next week so I'll wait and look around some.
Thanks

Looks like Bud's has the Kahr for $369. Of course you'd have ffl cost on top of this. That's $15 at the dealer I use.

www.kahr.com/PDF/CM9093r2.pdfTake a look at page 2. I wasn't aware (or had forgotten) that the CM series was out. If you are wanting something to carry, the CM will fit the bill better than the CW since the CM's are smaller. It appears as though the price for the CM's fall between the CW and the PM series.
