Just left the property with a hard blowing snow in the area. Still took the two boys arround and saw several gobblers in full strut with hens. If they don't freeze out tonight, they'll have a decent chance to kill something.

Cold morning down here. None of the contest winners have scored yet, but all have seen some birds and heard a few gobble. One of the girls that was hunted killed this one late in the morning on a neighboring farm--

Well me and the boys made it inand although they never got a bird we had a great time.I would like to again thank Timex for his hospitality and geerosity for letting the boys hunt.We saw several birds and heard lots of gobbling but werent able to connect. It wa some great counrty,The weather was more like January with a bitter wind almost the whole time..But thats why its called unting...The boys hung in there an I was very prould of the way they stuck it out under les than ideal conditions. So again thanks for the memories Timex,Chucker

I'm sure if the weather had been better........ darn this global warming anyway! Tell the boys for all of us that they proved themselves to be real hard-nosed hunters by sticking it out to the end through the worst possible conditions. Kudos to timex for allowing the opportunity.
