I have seen so many Gobblers attack dying birds on video,but... I think it's a gimmick, with out motion it won't do much of anything.

Agreed, The thrashing around is what attracts the birds in my opinion. Without movement- GIMMICK

Well if you hold it in your hands and in front of your head and move it around and thrash it a bit, I bet it would work great, just like the trans fan thingy........

In my opinion it sits too close to the ground. By the time they see it they should be floppin!. I don't think it would hurt anything, but I'm not turkey hunting expert
