I saw over 100 turkeys driving around today. Mostly hens. I did see 12 hens with 4 gobblers and the gobblers where following in full strut!
This is the 1st time this year I've seen gobblers strutting with hens.
I can't wait!

I saw a single Tom in a field just north of Peru, I had to run to North Liberty today and saw him coming home. He looked real lonely...... I wish I could have brought him home, but I don't hunt up there. The guy at North Liberty said they have turkey everywhere up there. You northern guys alway complain about the lack of gobblers hmmmmm, LOL!

Just returned from a road scout. Man the birds were out this evening. Seen 4 groups and 3 of them had strutters. One of the groups (where I can hunt) had a strutter and 3 other toms with 18 hens. Man its a LOOOONG time till April 25. Hope to put my son on one the young season, but thats still a long time to.
