I don't often plug products, but can't help myself this time. In the past two years I have bought two cheap ground blinds. The first one was a umbrella style. I thought it was great until bang!! a support rod snapped when the wind blew. This just happened to be the first day of Turkey season last year. No more blind for the next 5 days. I took it back to where I bought it and exchanged for a 5 hub style. I was all happy with myself because this blind was $200 compared to the Double Bull for $400. I took it deer hunting last fall and had a hard time getting the walls to pop out. I was afraid I was going to snap the fiberglass poles, but didn't. I finally got it up but was sweating and told myself I need to practice more before I come out to the woods. I put the blind in the attic for the winter and got it back out a few days ago. Again I had trouble shaking the walls out. I finally got the first one out and snap!! the rod broke right where it connects to the hub. I thought about trying to fix it. I proceeded to pop the roof out and SNAP!! again. This time I was about to snap. I quickly threw it in the trunk to take back to Cabelas. I decided I was going to exchange it for the best one they had, the Matrix 360. All I can say is WOW!! They spent a lot of time making this blind right. The hubs are amazing. It goes up quickly!! I don't know if anyone else went cheap and learned their lesson like I did, but I am truly impressed! There are some many features and benefits to using this blind! I know some will say it's too much money and you're paying for the name. I just know I want it to work when I go on a hunt.

I currently hunt out of a dog house blind, but I have hunted out of a double bull before and they are really nice. The checkbook just isn't that deep right now. I would love to have one in the future, but for now I will do with my dog house blind.

We got some Double Bull blinds last year for our youth deer hunt and they are Cadillacs for sure. The hub style blinds can be difficult to unfold, especially if your not used to the pressure it takes to unfold one. I like that they are ridgid and don't flap in the wind.

I got a sweet deal on a Double Bull just before season last spring. Bought it used (one weekend) from a buddy in Wisconsin for $165 shipped to my door!! I haven't even had it out of the house yet, but when I do, it will be nice.
Don't be surprised if you break a rod or two with the double bull. I was at a buddies dads house a couple of years ago and he was trying to convince me to buy one and broke a rod in the process. He went to the garage and got another rod and replaced it. He said it wasn't the first one that he broke and when he called for a replacement, they sent him a couple of extra's.

Welcome to the D.B. family! I've owned D.B. blinds now for 5 years or so. I've had two of the BS-5's (first one got stolen ) and now own a Matrix. Before the D.B.'s I went the Doghouse route. That blind went right back to Cabela's after the first set up and I realize it was too small to bow hunt out of and then the wire frame tore through the material upon folding it back up. I did brake one pole in my first BS-5. Totally my fault. The thing I'll say about DB is that they have one of the best warranties around. No questions asked, they sent me a new one. A buddy of mine left his out one night and a tree limb fell right on top of the blind. Shattered several poles and tore the material. He sent it back to DB and they fixed him back up for free. Welcome to the club!

I have owned my Double Bull since 2002. I have not one moments trouble out of this blind. It is going with me to Nebraska in a few days where we will bow hunt turkeys for 13 days. I always pack my blind in and out with me. Leaving it set up anywhere is just asking for it to be stolen. Good luck in the upcoming season. ;D ;D ;D

I have 5 Doghouses. I just got the last 2 for 49 each. I am sure they are not the quaility of the Double Bull. I put them out in my turkey woods and use them during the season so I dont have to carry them around.
