I'd venture to say it's going to be another record breaking year since the fields were bare and the weather was much better than last year. Heck we may even break 140000 this year, there is just so many deer and those darn gun hunters won't kill any does

How come Ohio, Illinois know right away??? Illinois is telecheck, with a computer input even. ;D I don't know about Ohio. Kentucky is day by day. Even us peons can access the numbers almost real time. Looks like the DNR was so anxious to copy Ohio's season maybe they should be copying Ohio's data gathering procedure first.

Here is a novel Idea maybe they should stop trying to copy all the states around us since this is Indiana maybe they should just try to do what we want in Indiana for the herd in Indiana. So so sad really that they have to copy states with nothing more in common with us other than deer and hunters and that is where the similarities end in land mass, water shed/supply ,food sources , herd size and hunter population.
