I drive from Lebanon to Lafayette Mon-Fri and I usually see alot of deer in the morning and evenings this time of year. I haven't seen one deer, scratch that I did see one doe about 3 weeks ago standing on the side of I65 in the ditch. Other than that I haven't see any bucks. Last year I saw alot of bucks, one of them was inside the high fence of the old, old Indiana property right at I65 and Sugar creek. The guy who owns that land has it fenced all the way around and has security patrolling the entire property. I saw the buck 2 or 3 times last year and it was a giant. Probably a 150" or bigger 10 point. Must be nice to have money and own land like that!

Ya right now in N. IN, all the deer don't need to wander. Corn is being cut for their nightly feasts, acorns are falling for that extra snack and the heat is on......BUT, water is not everywhere this year.....Hit the water holes or wait till Late Oct this year boys!

The guy that has the fence has trail cams on the property lines and a big tower blind facing the neighbors property just to keep a eye on things. he even had a rope across the creek!!!!
