Success 25 minutes into it! Nothing like a little fresh meat in the freezer. I would like to add that I was hunting a buddy's farm and he was issued 10 permits from the DNR for crop damage. I was one of the listed hunter's and this was all done legally and the right way. It was a first time opportunity for me to hunt deer in August and help reduce the damage to his soybeans!

yea i know thats the reason we hvae depredation hunts. is also the reason I don't take part in them. Is just the way my dad raised me. Not taking anything away from anyone that gets one. Is Just something I don't agree with. allways figured I would wait until they were a little older. the only way I would take a fawn is if I messed up and killed its mother. Then to me thats putting the animal down cause it wouldn't survive without her. but like I said congrats on your kill.
