Went on a scout trip today saw a few bucks even a couple of shooters. Sure was nice to get out and see some deer instead arguing about them on the internet.

Been scouting and hanging stands and glassing fields and looking up property owners for months. Seen a few shooters, mostly little guys. Moved a twenty foot ladder across a field to a new spot, hung a new twenty foot ladder back in April and have hundreds of new cam pics. Had Major shoulder surgery on May 11, never applied for a x-bow permit, just started pulling a 35lb bow back. The woods is where it's at fowlhunter, regardless of the rules the woods put's it back in your soul! I will kill deer, plenty of them. It's about sweat and work and obsession with the outdoors.

I was out last weekend myself. We moved a ladder, assembled and installed another ladder, checked on 3 others and sprayed round up on all our paths to try and kill back some of the growth. It'll all be here before you know it. I just hope it cools down some before then. It's been hotter than .....well, you know.

I have been out almost every weekend since archery went out in January keeping tabs on the local deer, clearing fallen trees, & treestand housekeeping.

I've been seeing lots of Squirrels, Rabbits, Turkeys, & Deer daily down where I live. The weather is a bit Hot & Humid too, but no air quality problems, like there is in SW Indiana.

had the camaras up for a little while now a few good bucks but not the one just yet. Have seen a couple really nice shooters on our evening deer drives while glassing fields and latly have been sitting on one of my favorite fields in the confines of a hay loft to look out over the field. Its pretty comfortable just wish i could get the deer to come closer to it.

Bow opener will be here before you know it. CAN'T WAIT. Been seeing alot of deer lately as hay fields have all been cut. Deer seem to be gathering in their social group's introducing the new fawn's to rest of herd. Pretty cool to watch them all interact. Watched couple dominet doe's go at it last week. Stand up on hind legs and box with front feet. Awesome.

Watched a couple of fawns do the boxing thing a few years ago during the season, so interested in that forgot what I was out there for, and all three got away . Does that make me a bad hunter?
