OK, it is 2010. And to date, with all the technology out there, I would think by now, I COULD HAVE FOUND A COFFEE POT THAT DOESN'T DRIP WHEN I POUR A CUP!
From Mr. Coffee to Krups to Black & Decker - no success. I googled for the best review and came up with the B & D which I am currently using - still no luck.
Anyone have a good suggestion?

I didn't have much luck in that regard, either.
Had one that worked well for a while, but tthe carafe had a tiny "bird beak" for pouring, that would do so without spilling only if I VERY slowly trickled the coffee into my cup.
Finally tossed it and got another cheapie that had wehat appeared to be a larger and better designed pouring spout on the carafe, but the heating unit failed after a few weeks.
Have settled now on a Melitta plastic filter holder that sits atop the cup while I pour the hot water through the grounds. Can't beat extreme simplicity. Nothing to break or fail or get plugged up. Each cup is custom brewed . Of course, it's not that handy if you're making coffee for everyone or if you drink it by the pot.
Three minutes in the microwave puts the hot on a pint of water, and a slow pour through the paper filter fills my 16oz. mug.
May not be the perfect solution, but I'm happy with it.

Hamilton Beach Brew Station. Even shuts itself so you don't have to worry about having not turned it off.

We have one of the fancier Mr. Coffee, coffee makers, but it has an auto shut off feature. One thing I don't like about it is that I wish you could turn that feature off, or at least adjust the length of time before it shuts off.

shop.melitta.com/itemdy00.asp?T1=64+007&Cat=That's what I use. Directly from tea kettle into my cup. It makes fantastic coffee, and I don't have to worry about drips unless I pour too much water in. It was also 3 dollars.

You will get your coffee just as quick with the Hamiton Beach Brew Station. There are several advantages to it, one is if your water is not the greatest you wont get that taste Bunn will give you after a time. Another is you will not get a burned cup of coffee. Your last one in the pot is just as good as the first because it does not sit on the usual hot plate surface and burn your coffee. Hey I know how you feel as I had a Bunn for at least 30 years until I was introduced to something better. And they are cheaper too.

Never thought I would give up my Bunn either, now the only way I would go back is if they quit making the Brew Station.

The only drip free coffee maker I've ever owned was an old fashioned long spouted percolator. It made great coffee in about four minutes, and never dripped while pouring.

I've had Bunn coffee pots all my life, but I actually need a new one for my office and your comments on the Brew Station have me thinking of trying one.

You coffee is held in the container that uou use to put the water in the brew station. Just pick it up and pour it out. To get you coffee you just hold your cup to the station and press it against it. Your coffee comes down into your cup, no drip.
