I was so pleased to be informed by employer today that due your health care reform I will be paying more each check for my coverage, my deductible is going up and my prescription rates are increasing also. I hope all the lazy sob's and illegals enjoy their health insurance at my expense.

It'll get worse, more than half of all employer provided insurance plans don't meet specs under Obamacare, which means that by 2016 we'll all be on it.

we were informed that by 2014 all employees (ALL, EVERYBODY<NATIONWIDE) had to contribute 20% to their plan, company does 80%. Currently I contribute 5%. By law they HAVE to increase our fees to that 20%. WTF? ? Thanks Obama...and all you arseholes that put him in office!

I got a notice a few weeks ago that the flexible spending health plan is no longer valid for OTC items without a Dr. note...Not a big deal if you are spending lots of money on co-pays and procedures but it is if you are not using your insurance it just means an extra fee you pay to the doc for asprin, band aid, etc
Looks like the best is yet to come. We continue to erode away, very sad.

...I will be paying more each check for my coverage, my deductible is going up and my prescription rates are increasing also. Mine did that 4 years ago...who do I blame? My Out-of-Pocket Max increased also.

On the average, 40% of the cost of a visit to the doctors office is to pay the premium for malpractice insurance. A friend of mine sat on a jury a few years ago concerning a woman who slipped on some ice in the parking lot of our local hospital. She got a lawyer, sued the hospital for $300,000.00 for negligence even though they took her inside, treated her for some bruises, gave her some medicine for pain, and told her to come back for follow up if she felt the need, NO CHARGE! The jury felt that the hospital was at fault for not keeping the lot clear of ice, but awarded the woman absolutely no monetary compensation because they felt that by her asking for that amount of money, she was just out for a free ride. Combine that all across the country with all those "undocumented workers" not paying a dime for millions of dollars of care, and you have an inkling of where all the money you honestly pay goes for.
