I thought it to be scary. Gotta hand it to 'em though. While we're thinking that they can't possibly do such crazy things in such blatant fashion, they're doing it.
An update says that the hispanic candidate won the vote. Surprise, surprise!
Agree that SCOTUS needs to put this on fast track.

They've done this in three other places as well.

First off EVERYONE, regardless of race, got 6 votes that they could split between 6 candidates and there were multiple spots to fill. I don't see any grounds for a legal challenge. It did give stupid a chance to show itself again - ie the lady that cast 1 vote each for all 6 candidates; and that accomplished what exactly?

You are correct. My initial reading was too quick. The multiple votes were for everyone voting. Still, it's kinda shocking to those who have always heard the "one man, one vote" line, which, at least to me, is the way it ought to be.

Im curious as to why the folks who dreamed this up thought it would actually do anything.
If anything it possibly has the opposite effect when you factor in the stupidity of people.
Example ... the nice lady who decided to place one vote for everyone and the other person who decided to give 2 each to 3 different people. That is all fine and dandy but when the next guy through the polls decides to give all 6 of his votes to his candidate of choice it kind of trumps the previous two morons.
A person who casts a vote for every candidate is basically saying she cares not who wins .... so why vote at all?
People find the most creative ways to display how utterly ignorant they are.
