Sittin' in my recliner lettin' my mind drift down "memory lane", remembering some autos that I have owned along the journey.
Two that come to mind are a '57 Chevy and a '67 Mustang. Of course, neither of them were classics when I held the title.
Anyone have one that perhaps you kept over the years?

First car was a 1968 Chevelle SS396 375hp 4 speed. Bought it in 1990 and didnt realize what I had at the time. Sold it in 1996 and kick myself almost every day.
Others I have briefly owned were a second 1968 Chevelle SS396 325hp .... 1977 Trans Am .... 1969 Chevelle SS396 325hp ..... and a 1966 Chevy II SS that I owned for about an hour.
I would love to buy another muscle car but they have sky-rocketed in price in the last 10 years.

1966 International Scout 800- had it for about 10 years but never did do enough with it to get it drive-able... Had a couple of "parts" Scouts with it as well.

Got a '79 Powerwagon Crewcab sitting in the polebarn lot now that I really need to do some work on and get back in running condition. Other than that I'm still running a '89 Dodge 3500 w/Cummins that I pull my trailer that carries mower(s) and tractor w/as sundry gear around the local area....last major trip with it was to SC to pickup the aforementioned vehicle. Had a '76 Celica GT liftback that I bought new when I was in the service...traded it in on a Caravan (family van). Actually found it (the GT)on campus a few years ago and tried to see if the student would sell it back to me but could never make connections...something about having the first new car you ever owned that just wanted me to have it back

I had a 69 Nova 350 for a while while I was a teenager. I didn't get to drive it much.
I got a 72 maverick from my father in law a few years ago for mowing his grass one summer. It had 27,000 miles on it. He bought it off of the only owner, an old lady in Cleves OH. Everything was original. All of the seat belts except the drivers were still folded and clipped from the factory.

1966 Plymouth satellite 426 HEMI 1967 Plymouth GTX 426 HEMI 1970 Chevy nova SS 350 wow .... I cringe when I think what my 375hp car is worth today. About $50k. You know how much HEMI cars are worth in todays market? 2 arms, 2 legs and your first born.

Not a classic by the standards above but in my 20's I had a 94 chevy stepside Mark III conversion not much under the hood but man was that thing SHARP! I tore it up hunting and fishing but I wish I could get her back!

The closest I ever got to owning a classic was a fire engine red '67 Pontiac Tempest. It loked exactly like the '66 GTO that I really wanted.

Couple of "different" ones I had: '50 Dodge with a Fluid Drive transmission, shift, or don't shift! A '57 Desota that had push button gear selector. I also owned 2 Corvairs and never was able to turn one of them over (apologies to Ralph Nader). I actually liked those Corvairs.

I've had many, but none will ever match the first truck (or vehicle) I ever drove. A 1948 Chevrolet Thrift-Master 6 This was our farm truck (which of course we used for everything) and she had a straight 6 (216 ci) with a a 4 speed manual. I can still remember the first day I drove the truck at 4 yrs old. My Dad, Grandpa and Uncle had cleaned fence rows and I was slowly driving the truck along the old county road in Porter county at the edge of our farm as they threw the old posts and fence onto the truck. She was originally an old coal truck which is why she had the chain and gear assembly used to hoist the bed. Gosh, what a good old memory!
