I sold my latest vintage motorcycle to a fella from south Jersey and he paid me to deliver it halfway to a convenient midway point - Cabela's in Wheeling, West Virginia! When not in use guiding with my bird dogs my van is a camping buggy for delivering and trailering motorcycles. Years ago (a different van) I made a bed out of 2x4's, foam, plywood and an old bed frame and my wife sewed curtains for the windows. This was my camping spot for the night: Cabela's back lot! ..and I woke to a sunrise filled with geese flying over! Even though there were signs posted that said no overnight parking, the manager on duty told me I was good for the night and we kind of became entertainment for a few days as people kept coming by to check out the ole bike. It turned out to be a lot better deal than the local hotels that were charging $150+ for one night!!!
