"I've got say that seeing 30 deer in an evening hunt might just be an indicator of too many deer."
Ya, but it sure would be fun! ;d

At least you guys have deer to see. I think I've seen a grand total of 6 or 7 in almost 8 months since we moved up here........ If you guys think you've got low deer numbers, buy a non-res tag in NH and I'll show you what "low" numbers actually are!

I have seen slightly more deer in Morgan Co than I have seen the last few years.

I saw fewer total deer but more bucks. I would bet the two correlate strongly.
Bucks seemed to spike upward in antler size last year, likely a result of the frequent and timely rainfall we received throughout the growing season.

I would say they are up some where I hunt in Lawrence county .I've been seeing a ton of does lately.I counted about 20 when I was turkey hunting a couple days ago.Seen several smaller bucks lastyear,so I'm hoping I'll be seeing more bucks this season.

Don't really like to tell you this, danf, BUT NH is NOT one of your better Deer Hunting States. Lots of winter die-offs & other limiting factors. NH is a VERY beautiful State but it's a VERY small State with lots of people.
