Yearly “Sportsman’s License”
How much would you pay for a Yearly Sportsman’s License?
This license would include all deer tags, turkey tags (Spring and Fall), small game hunting, and habitat stamp. Basically a “Lifetime License” on a yearly basis.
Lifetime License holders – You can participate too. What would you pay IF you did not have your Lifetime License?

(Whatever the IDNR thought was fair) if it actually was fair I would buy one every year. It would save me alot of time running around getting my license.

IMHO $100,00 would bge a bargain for the hunters and the state as well. It would possably increase multi game hunting participation for the state and a hunter that is not sure if he will say deer and turkey hunt will also rabbit hunt later he will not just say aww what the heck im not going to go because I have to get a license for just a couple of times . I see it as a step forward.

I voted $150, as the IDNR needs the money for Wildlife Management & land purchases & salaries.

I would agree with $125, but where I live, there aren't turkeys in huntable numbers and therefore, most years I don't get to go turkey hunting.

I like the idea, but if you could add in a fishing license I would pay $90 or $95.

you know the other state I hunt in....North Carolina, offers a yearly sportsman for $40.00...includes 6 deer tags, 2 turkey tags, 1 black bear, 2 wild boar, and all small game, waterfowl, and all fishing.....for residents...non res sportsman is like $275 I think

I found this the most interesting poll question yet. I made me tally up what I spend anyway. Sure $125 would be a bargain. I think it would really help do some damage to the flathead (doe) population also

I remember how people laughed at me in 1988 for buying a lifetime hunting/fishing license; they said I would never recover the cost. Now, I’m the one laughing.

$135 is still a bargain. Up here you have to buy a turkey tag to hunt the draw hunts anyway. I would consider buying the Fed duck stamp and do some goose hunting too.

I hunt many years in Georgia. There a Sportsman License is $60 for a resident and includes all hunting plus fishing. This year it may have gone up a bit, but is still less than $90 and good for 12 deer, 2 with antlers.
