Beautiful mounts and capes.
Question... Aren't you worried about wear and tear on the zebra mount with it being on the floor? I'm not sure I'd be willing to risk it. But maybe you know something I don't.

actually, in SA, the zebra and wildebeast hides are used pretty regularly for walk on rugs. Don't get me wrong, it won't get heavy foot traffic, but I have walked on it, and even used the sweeper on it. ;D The hide is tough, and the hair is napped real short and tight. H**l, if it wears out, gives me a good excuse to go shoot another one! ;D ;D

$802 for my 1/2. Which includes air freight to Chicago, customs/F&W clearance, and shipped to my home.

Thanks. There are 3 of us that were kicking around the idea of going over there, and were wondering about the "hidden" fees that are associated with a hunt like that.

The only real area that is somewhat gray, is the taxidermy and then the shipping. Whether to ship air or ocean freight, etc. We worked with great agent, here in the states, for our plains game safari, in July 2008. If you are going to go, I'd sure recommend www.cruisersafaris.com/Bob Clark, their agent here in the US, is great. There were absolutely no surprises, from beginning to end. maddog
