Since reading Hoosier Hunter's thread on jig tying, I'm once again getting the serious bug to get back out and cast a few flies. Two of my many passions are fly fishing and rebuilding motorcycles (mainly vintage BMW's and a few Harley's). I especially like doin' a few twisties through southern Indiana and then up at Stone Arch in Atterbury for an evening. Below is a pic from a few years back with one of my Harley's, a fly rod and a beautiful sunset. Anybody else got similar waters good for a backcast?

Well let me see, I have patoka, Indian, Celina, Tipsaw, a great CC, all the pits at Sugar Ridge, Snakey Point, Dogwood....this could go on for a long time. Those of us living in Southern Indiana do have some wonderful places to wet a line.

Growing up those 4" gills and little yellow bellied cats were about all we had to fish for, well not counting carp. It's not the size it is the persuit that makes it fun. Enjoy those little guys.
