Headed to Pike County tomorrow morning for a three day shed hunt with my 3 year old and about 25 other friends from church.
Looking forward to some fun quality time.
Wish us luck!

We bought out the lodge and had a total of about 30 people including kids. I think it was $1000 for two & nights three days. That was for the rooms only. We supplied and cooked our own food in the very nice restaurant style kitchen and on two different gas grills. Weather was decent on the first two days but rained on the last day. I think we found a total of about 10 sheds with the biggest one being one side of a 140+ incher. Here are some photos, unfortunately we didn’t do a group photo with all the sheds due to the rain. Pike County is beautiful, but I don't think I could unleash $1800-$5000 for a hunt there.

Hard to put a price on spending quality time with the family. I'm sure they enjoyed it.

Nice pics, sounds like a good time was had. I'm not sure I understand the cost, was it $1000 total for all 30 people?

Yes, I believe it was $1000 to rent the whole cabin (8 rooms, Many w/ bunk beds and some with king beds) and have full use of the kitchen, hot tub, grill, patio and full use of all 14k acres by ourselves.
We had full roam of the place Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday.
We bought bulk food and cooked meals for everyone.
For example it cost me and my 2 1/2 year old $145 for food & board. Add another $100 for gas & food on the drive over and back.
So total cost for me for the whole two night, three day vacation was under $250.
Still less then I would pay at a nice hotel somewhere plus food and the rooms rivaled a four star hotel. This place was very very nice.

I was actually supposed to go and do that last year, but the guy from the lodge would never get back with me and the one time he did he doubled the price from what he had quoted me at the Deer and Turkey Expo.
